Reminder: Zydeco Dance Party Tomorrow

Tomorrow evening (Thursday, May 24) starting at 7:00 les bons temps will rouler on Pier 1, Brooklyn Bridge Park as Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience (see video after the jump) and Jesse Lége & Bayou Brew provide the Louisiana sounds for the third and final in the BRIC Arts Media Brooklyn/Brooklyn Bridge Park series of free dance parties. For those unfamiliar with Cajun dance styles, folks from Red Hook’s Jalopy Theatre and School of Music will be there to teach you the steps. Update: Because of rain, the event will take place in the tent like structure between Pier 1 and Furman Street (see comment after the jump).
