BHer: I too use Dr. Moshman on Remsen Street. Once when I had an emergency he opened the office on the weekend to treat me. He also reads science fiction, so we have something non-dental to talk about.
Maybe no one has notices, but NYC Sliders in the Clark Street 2/3 arcade has closed. Apparently after there were complaints about greasy smalls from their grill, they were ordered to install a duct to evacuate the smells. However, this would have had to be 12 stories high, going up through the St. George Hotel, so instead they closed down.
