    Yes, Homer. End clustering NOW!

    Homer, Please take note.

TK gets my vote. Think BIG, vote SMALL as he has been known to say.

I just returned from a roll around the neighborhood to get some fresh air and clear the ill effects of message clustering. In a moment of clarity, I realized that some of us (myself included) have been accidentally promoting clustering. Every time we click “reply” and then write a message, we are feeding the beast. If you believe in the sanctity of chronological communications, please only submit comments at the end of the thread, regardless of which comment you are addressing. Anyway, that’s just my suggestion.

    End Clustering Now!

    T.K.! You did it!

At least, yours was the final supplication.

    (Thank you, Homer.)

Go Homer, it’s your birthday! Go Homer, it’s your birthday! Okay, that joke doesn’t really translate well into written form, but suffice it to say, it is an appreciative remark. In short, thank you Homer!

With that problem resolved, can we please get down to some serious complaining about restaurant grading, double wide strollers, bicycle paths, Housing in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and neighborhood parking permits.

T.K. – just a bit of good-spirited competition, no offense was intended

Seems Homer has cast his ballot in your favor! Now, about that byline…

  • T.K. Small

Definitely no offense taken. I believe in the marketplace of ideas. This time I happened to be on the side that prevailed. I was not so lucky with my anti-gravel efforts within Brooklyn Bridge Park. That campaign was a complete failure.

@ WillowtownCop, Knight is correct. Sanitation Police are “cops” they carry firearms, handcuffs and can make arrests. Unlike the “meter-maids” that only carry a ticket pad and an attitude.

  • WillowtownCop

They are peace officers, not police officers. They are not first responders and they don’t come when people call for help. Gun or not, their primary function is to write tickets, not answer calls for service.

Unrelatedly, why are the comments closed on the modeling agency thread?

Teresa: I planted one of these in my garden a year ago. If you’re interested you can bring yours over and they can grow together. ;)

Sunday late afternoon, a beautiful black girl wearing only a macramé bikini was posing for a fashion shoot for a Caribbean designer on the Promenade, standing on a bench. Outside temp: just over freezing. I love BH!

@ Willowtown, With all respect. My uncle who was a NYC police officer for over 30 years, told me in no uncertain words; the primary duty of a cop is to write summons/tickets…

Willow, I’d *love* to. I’d like to see this cute little tree have a home.

My e-mail address it tagnyc @ yahoo

    Thank you!
