BHB Readers’ 9/11 Photos

like most New Yorkers, I want to put this behind me. I recall walking home across the Manhattan Bridge that day and seeing the cars covered with snow-like residue when I got to the Heights, finding venetian blind slats on my fire escape, and breathing in that acrid smoke.
Those photos are moving though. It is OK to remember ten years later and be aware of how far we have come.
