According to the news on WQXR this morning, striking Verizon workers have agreed to return to work while Communications Workers of America officials and Verizon management return to the bargaining table. While the two sides are still far from an agreement on a new contract, they believe that enough of an understanding has been reached to make further discussions possible. So, for now, no more red shirts and shouting on Montague Street between Clinton and Henry.
