Maybe now Peas & Pickles will have chicken? Also, isn’t that dojo space REALLY small compared to the old space? I wonder why they moved…

I understand that the landlord (75 Henry Owners corp.) is jacking up the rent at all the Pineapple Walk spaces as their lease come due. Either the board is brilliant in that they have a master plan to fill all the spaces in a way that will better serve their tenants or they have not learned from their neighbors across Henry Street that higher commercial rents in the north heights mean vacant storefronts. Hopefully the board realizes that vacant commercial space will eventually mean higher maintenance for the apartment owners. Keep an eye on the Park Plaza Diner to see how this unfolds…….

I hope they have space for the train table that my son loves playing with every time we pass Pineapple walk.

HOW are they going to fit all the baby stuff and toys into that space? I know they make the most money off the strollers…but I would hate to lose the toys :-(

and how does this affect Rocco & Jezebel?

  • HeightsMom

The new Heights Kids space is horribly cramped and a shell of the former store. I didn’t see any gear in there (strollers etc) and a fraction of the toys and clothes. So sad! It will be sorely missed. Rocco & Jez is still there.

Thanks, HeightsMom. I just hope they can stay
