From Saturday, August 20 through the following Saturday, August 27, St. Francis College, 180 Remsen Street (between Clinton and Court), will present the “Art of Brooklyn” festival, featuring films, paintings, and live music, including after parties at local night spots on Saturday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the final Saturday. Daily passes, which include all events on a given day as well as the after party if scheduled, are only $12 (senior citizens are admitted free), and a weeklong pass for all events is $65. Opening night (Saturday the 20th) will feature the world premiere of the twenty minute version of If These Knishes Could Talk, by BHB contributor Heather Quinlan. If you can’t make it that Saturday, her film will reprise at a matinee starting at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday the 27th.
