We recently brought you the happy news about Doggie the lost cat. Now, for those of you who’ve been following the Clark St. tree well with no tree, we have some closure for that, too.
We are happy to report that the tree well now actually has a real live tree! According to Mark from the Clark St. restaurant, the City had told him last year that they would not put a tree there because too many trucks drive on the sidewalk. Then they told him they would, but proceeded to put two trees in further down the block instead.
Now, after valiant yet unsuccessful attempts by Mark and his brother, Harry, to add greenery to the cursed space, the City has finally planted a new tree.
