From midnight tonight (Friday, June 10) to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, June 12, Manhattan-bound A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street/Metro Tech and West 4th Street. From High Street, take a Brooklyn-bound A or C to Jay Street and transfer to a Manhattan-bound A or C for West 4th or stops further uptown. For service to Chambers, Canal or Spring streets, use the 2, 3, 4 or R to nearby stops, or take the A or C from Jay Street to West 4th and change there for the downtown E.
As has been the case for several weekends, uptown A and C trains will be running express from 59th to 125th streets (the A normally runs local during late night hours on weekends, when there is no C service) all weekend, so for service to locations on the Upper West Side its best to use the 2, 3 or 1 local. Coming back to Brooklyn, the A and C will make local stops.
