Easter Egg Hunt? You Asked, You Got

When we posted notice of the Brooklyn Heights Playground Committee’s Spring Egg Hunt on April 23 at Pierrepont Playground, several of you, of various religious or non-religious views, commented to the effect that it ought to be called an Easter Egg Hunt, since that’s what you call a thing where kids go looking for brightly dyed eggs at this time of year. Now, thanks to St. Charles Borromeo Church, you have your wish.

The Church is having its Easter Egg Hunt, which is free and to which all kids and parents are invited (but please register in advance by e-mail to dyanner@hotmail.com or the low-tech way by signing the sheet at the back of the church), also on Saturday, April 23. It’s BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket). The BBPC hunt starts at 10:00, and the St. Charles’ one at 10:30, so, if you and your kids have sufficient stamina and are fleet of foot enough to make it from Pierrpont Playground to the Church at Sidney and Aitken places (between Joralemon and State) quickly, you can do both.
