BHB Recognized for Community Service in Brooklyn Heights

BHB publisher/founder John “Homer Fink” Loscalzo accepted the BHA’s certificate for Outstanding Community Service at last night’s annual meeting.

“We have all come to depend upon the BHB for up to date, on the spot coverage,” the BHA’s Tom Stewart said during the presentation. “One of the greatest values to the neighborhood is the forum it provides for Heights residents to express their opinions and to communicate with one another.”

Of course Karl Junkersfeld was on the scene to shoot video. See it after the jump.

Once again, congratulations, Homer! (And all done in a house of god, yet!)

The BHB has become a part of my life, and one I would sorely miss were it not there. A forum for community-building, but more importantly a place to BITCH!

So, thanks, BHB, You’re way better than Charlie Sheen and Scarlett Johansson put together!
