State Senator Daniel Squadron will host his third annual Community Convention on Sunday, March 13, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The previous two conventions were held at Borough of Manhattan Community College, but this year the Senator is moving it to the Brooklyn side of his district, and it will be held at St. Francis College, 180 Remsen Street.
The purpose of the Convention is to allow constituents to engage in discussion with the Senator and his staff on matters of community concern. Last year’s event included a lively discussion of the helicopter noise issue, and Senator Squadron has been active in representing community concerns about this problem. Details of the program for this year, including a list of topics for discussion, are here.
