P.S. 8 Kids Compete in National Geographic Contest

P.S. 8 teacher Melissa Browning and students have entered an eco-friendly video in National Geographic / Procter and Gamble’s “Find Your Footprint” contest. Students nationwide have entered videos highlighting one of three green initiatives – save water, reduce waste or save energy and are competing for “awesome prizes” for their school via online voting. The P.S. 8 kids are now in the running against 5 other classes for the GRAND PRIZE of $36,600 for their school.

    Go PS8! Go!

And does anyone know how lucky we are to have a teacher like Ms. Browning? And all the great teachers at PS8?

Cuts are coming for real, and it could mean we lose some of our newer staff. Please support the PS8 PTA to keep the dream alive.

Remember, you don’t have to be parent to support our beloved neighborhood school:

    Many Thanks.
