The Promenade gardeners, who have been busy the past few weeks planting bulbs for daffodils and tulips that will bloom in the spring, are having a bake sale this Saturday, December 4, from 11:00 a.m. “until the last crumb”. The sale will take place on the Promenade at the Montague Street entrance. The rain date (though the forecast is for a crisp but sunny day) is Sunday, December 5. All proceeds will go to Promenade Partners, a joint effort the Brooklyn Heights Association and the City Department of Parks and Recreation, dedicated to the beautification and maintenance of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
