St. Charles Borromeo Presents Organ Concert Saturday
St. Charles Borromeo Church, 125 Sidney Place, is celebrating the 130th anniversary of its Odell pipe organ with a concert Saturday evening, November 6, starting at 7:00, featuring Jonathan Hall, a fellow of the American Guild of Organists. Mr. Hall will play music by Sweelinck, Pachelbel, Alain, Bingham, and others, and will explain and illuminate the pieces “with wit and wisdom.” There will be a reception following the concert. Tickets are $20 in advance (call the parish office at 718-625-1177 to reserve) or $25 at the door. Friend and Patron tickets, which include listing in the program, are available for $50 and $100 respectively. All tickets will be held at the door.
