One Day Shopping Event, Just in Time for Holidays

Looking for some unique holiday gifts for your friends and family this season? Maybe the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue can help. On Sunday, November 21st, from 11am to 5pm, the synagogue will transform into a holiday gift market filled with lots of local merchants. In fact– over 20 local vendors will be selling their goods– including Heights Kids, Tiki Girl Shop, Cobblestone Foods, Liddabit Sweets, and Brooklyn Brew.

“This is the first year we are featuring such an extensive, well-rounded Market, with merchandise from around the City and around the world,” said BHS Gift Shop curator Andrea Perlman. “In the past we had a small-scale fair with a limited selection of crafts and books. This year, we have gifts that everyone in the neighborhood will want to buy for Chanukah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. We’ll have items at a variety of price points and there will be local, artisanal food items for sale, on-site eats from Cobblestone Foods, and the Brooklyn Wine Exchange will do a wine tasting.”

Mark your calendars, the event is for one day only! For more information and a full list of vendors, visit http://www.bhsbrooklyn.org/.

And for those looking to give less tangible, but very meaningful, gifts, the Holiday Gift Market at the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue 21 November will also feature a table of “gifts that give,” opportunities to support charitable organizations local and international. Make a donation to honor a friend or family member; a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays, to help others, and the gift definitely fits all!
