It's been an action packed final weekend for Magnetic Field [97 Atlantic Avenue] with many local faves playing their final shows at the venue including a surprise appearance by indie legends Yo La Tengo on Friday night. I can’t wait for the magnet field to finally shut down so I no longer have to look and read annoying posts about it on this website!
Just expressing my firm wish it returns to serving the gay community–throw us a bone! We haven’t had a gay bar in BoCoCa/Heights area in 5 years. It’s tiresome to schlep to the Slope or East Village everytime I want to go out for quick beer.
dragon lounge was right up the block on atlantic (for about 6 months)… also, floyd does a once a month gay night — check it out.
