Mess at Montague and Henry

BHB photo by C. ScalesWorkers have dug a trench along Henry Street, across the busy intersection with Montague. There’s a plate over part of it on Montague, wide enough to allow one vehicle through. The pedestrian crosswalk on the north side of Montague is closed, but some intrepid walkers still cross there, squeezing through the narrow passageway also used by cars.

    Yeesh. Saw this this morning. Crossed Henry and walked down Remsen to avoid any of the foot traffic around this road disturbance.

    @Jared–I was thinking the same thing. It would figure that 2 days after I finally get my issues with TWC resolved (or well finagle a deal to get more, pay less & have them install on a Saturday) FIOS would wire a block from my building.

    Between the tearing up Henry St. and the trees being worked on on Montague, nearly every sidewalk at Montague & Henry was closed this morning–it was a pain!
