Workers have dug a trench along Henry Street, across the busy intersection with Montague. There’s a plate over part of it on Montague, wide enough to allow one vehicle through. The pedestrian crosswalk on the north side of Montague is closed, but some intrepid walkers still cross there, squeezing through the narrow passageway also used by cars.
