“It’s Our Park Day” at Cadman Plaza Park Saturday
This coming Saturday, October 20 (rain date is Sunday the 21st), starting at 11:30 a.m. at Cadman Plaza Park, the Brooklyn Heights Association will present a neighborhood event for all ages. Volunteers will rake leaves and plant bulbs in the Park (rakes, bulbs and all other needed items provided by BHA) and will be rewarded with a free lunch. There will also be a bake sale to raise funds for P.S. 8's fifth grade trip to Washington, D.C. The event will conclude with a free outdoor concert by the Deedle Deedle Dees, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
