BWE Hosts Kids’ Craft Workshop Saturday, Silhouette Artist in April

The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange will host a children’s craft workshop this Saturday, March 20.

Children ages 4+ and their caregivers are invited to join members of the BWE this Saturday, March 20th to make a spring craft at 11am or 12 noon. A $5 materials-fee is requested. Please stop into the shop or call us at 718-624-3435 to reserve a spot. 10 children per class.

The Exchange is located at 55 Pierrepont Street, between Hicks and Henry.

On Saturday, April 17 acclaimed silhouette artist Deborah O’ Connor (featured in the Brooklyn Independent TV piece on BWE) will be at the Exchange from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to work her scissors magic. Silhouettes, which make dandy Mother’s Day gifts, are $30 each; frames are available at extra cost. Call 718-624-3435 for an appointment.

    BWE does a beautiful job! I am honored to be involved with them, not only as an artisan but also as a mother of two children. The workshops are always fabulous.
