Remember, remember,
The fifth of November,
Gunpowder treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
Looks more like Ricardo Montalban….
I can’t actually say I agree that this looks like Guy Fawkes – is there something that further identifies it?
Guy Fawkes “celebrations” should probably be forgotten. While very old and traditional, the celebrations are nothing more than institutionalized anti-Catholicism! Pity they still go on and re-enforce the idea that Catholics in England are not quite English or patriotic. Tony Blair, who converted to Catholicism after he left office, said he doubted even today that a Catholic could ever be Prime Minister. Of course, Catholics can never marry into the Royal Family. Personally, I doubt this kind of event would still be celebrated if it concerned another religion besides Catholicism.
Ricardo Montalban? What? Are you perhaps thinking of Cesar Romero as the Joker in the old TV Batman series?
Or was it just a brainless slur?
The banned i will now officially refer to you as “the ass”.
and I will officially refer to you as “the jass”
