From the NY Post comes this item that supermodel Tyra Banks was seen at our Peas ‘n’ Pickles with boyfriend/financier/Brooklyn Heights resident John Utendahl recently:
NY Post: TYRA Banks doesn’t appear to be much of a cook. The model-turned-talk-show host stopped by the Peas n’ Pickles convenience store in Brooklyn Heights with financier boyfriend John Utendahl and picked up more than 20 frozen dinners and a dozen energy bars. “She bought $130 worth of food, which they had to ring up item by item,” laughs our spy. “Her boyfriend paid for everything with his AmEx Black Card.”

I spotted Mr. Utendahl using that same AmEx Black Card at Blue Diamond Health Center early Sunday morning.

I prefer formal stupidity. Why is casual stupidity now so accepted? Doesn’t anyone make an effort anymore? In the old days people had a better sense of what type of stupidity was appropriate to the situation. Not anymore.
Is Utendahl’s apartment on Montague Street by any chance? After all, that’s where all the other banks are.
I no longer have TV and have been debating whether to get plugged in again. The only show I miss is ANTM. Great business tips for creative types, even for me in publishing. I’d love to see Tyra in the hood.
