Between Furman Street and Pier Three, an area that appears to be about the size of a football field has been enclosed by a barrier of hay bales, and dark topsoil is being spread inside the enclosure. Evidently, this is to be a temporary garden; eye candy visible from the Promenade while work on the Park continues.
