On Tuesday evening, September 27 at 6:30 the Brooklyn Historical Society will present Edward Ball, author of Slaves in the Family, and Karen Branan, author of The Family Tree, who will discuss “Confronting a Southern White Past”. On Thursday evening, September 29 at 6:30 Jarrett Murphy, Executive Publisher of City Limits, will lead a discussion of “Wild New York” with a panel of experts on the subject of wildlife, past and present, in New York City.
