Besides the not-to-be-missed Hidden Brooklyn Heights Walking Tour, there are several events of note in the neighborhood this weekend. Our Lady of Lebanon Cathedral (photo), Henry and Remsen Streets, will have its annual Lebanese Festival on Saturday, May 31 from noon to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 1 from noon to 6:00 p.m. The festival will feature Lebanese food, live music and entertainment, folkloric dance, rides, games, raffles, and boutiques.
On Friday evening, May 30 at 7:00 Bargemusic presents a concert of works by contemporary composer David Del Tredici, performed by Mark Peskanov on violin, Michael Nicolas on cello, and Steven Beck on piano, and by the Voxare String Quartet. On Saturday evening at 7:00 and again on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a concert of works by Schumann and Brahms performed by Messrs Nicolas on cello and Beck on piano. Theater 2020’s production of King Lear continues with performances Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 and Sunday afternoon at 3:00. More information here.

Don’t forget the model comet and Saturday night stargazing event on Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 1 this weekend. On Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., also on Pier 1, there will be a free Pier Kids event featuring Morgan Taylor, creator of Gustafer Yellowgold. There’s more information here. Smorgasburg will be on the Pier 5 uplands (near the Joralemon Street entrance) Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also on Sunday, starting at noon, there will be a free Docent Tour of Pier 1.
On Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Clinton and Montague streets, there will be an artist talk and reception featuring sculptor Sandra Osip and painter Douglas James, whose joint exhibition Raising the Dead will be at the church through July 6.
