Your correspondent, about to enjoy a plate of æbelskiver med syltetøj (apple fritters with jam and confectioner’s sugar) washed down with glogg. The latter was delightfully warming on this chilly afternoon. The best thing about it, though, was eating the wine-soaked currants from the bottom of the cup. Danish Market Draws a Crowd
The upstairs room at the Danish Seamen’s Church was crowded this afternoon with shoppers contemplating toys, other gifts, and holiday decorations. (More photos and text after the jump.) Danish clogs were a popular item. Downstairs, the food hall featured candy, cheeses, cookies, and…curry powder? In a tent in the garden, servers prepared hot dogs.
