    The conductor is my son, Nathan (he’s 5 1/2). He and his dad, Paul (standing next to him) worked on the train for weeks. They were both very excited for the big debut!

    I also saw an adorable VW Bus costume similar to the N Train. Wish I had a picture!

    was just thinking of the same vw bus costume when i saw this pic. it was a stroller converted into a bus and the babies and parents were hippies..it was awesome.

    I love seeing homemade costumes — making them together with kids/parents can be the best part of Halloween — you’d be amazed at how many costume accessories can be made with tin foil, scotch tape and a little imagination! Bravo Nathan, Paul and Stacey….

    Love the costume. Just don’t be surprised when that kid incurs sudden unexpected allowance increases.

    Actually, he looks too awake to make it as an MTA worker.
