The Yankee Fair is always a delight. I’ve never failed to find fascinating old books, always at very attractive prices. There are also good selections of CDs, DVDs, clothing, jewelry, bric-a-brac and so on.

Back in August I saw and heard Linda Russell in one of the free outdoor concerts put on by Lincoln Center in Damrosch Park. She was doing duets with a man (whose name now escapes me) who sang old songs about baseball. She’s a very talented singer.
