Grace Chorale of Brooklyn will present “Songs of Light and Peace: A Holiday Celebration” this Saturday, December 7, starting at 7:00 PM, at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, corner of Clinton and Montague (enter at 157 Montague). The program will include: “Hanukkah Cantata” by David Ludwig; “Peace on Earth” by Errolyn Wallen; “Jesus the Apple Tree” with music by Elizabeth Poston, lyrics anon.; “Christus Natus Est,” with music by Rosephayne Powell, based on a poem by Countee Cullen; and “Magnificat” by Antonio Vivaldi.
