Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend — Late Friday evening, July 7 to early Monday morning, July 10 — there will be no 3 train service. 2 trains should be running normally and will make all 3 train stops in both directions between 34th Street-Penn Station and Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College. 4 trains, which should also be running normally, will make all 3 train stops in both directions between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and New Lots Avenue. For what seems the umpteenth weekend there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street (but extra Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO) as Manhattan bound A and C trains will be re-routed to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street-Washington Square. There will be extra Manhattan bound service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as Manhattan bound N trains will be re routed to the R line all weekend.

The following work week — Monday morning, July 10 to Friday evening, July 14 — there are no planned cancellations or route changes directly affecting service at any local stations.

Always check MTA Info for last minute changes in planned service or unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
