Open Streets Montague, Saturday, May 27

Last Saturday’s Open Streets Montague had to be cancelled for rain. The forecast for this Saturday, May 27 looks very good.

Have you ever felt a desire to tickle the ivories? Is there a Martha Argerich, a Thelonious Monk, or even a Jerry Lee Lewis somewhere inside you? Come to Open Streets Montague this Saturday, to the keyboard between Henry and Hicks at noon (be prompt) to sign up for a free piano lesson, to be held between 12:40 and 1:00 pm or between 1:10 and 1:30 pm, from Jasna Popović. All ages, “from tuneful toddlers 5 and up to enthusiastic elders” (I’m 77 and tempted) are welcome. To get everyone psyched up, Ms.Popović will give a concert from 12:15 to 12:30 pm.

Open Streets will be from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm on Montague between Clinton and Henry and between Henry and Hicks. There will be lots of activities for parents and kids. The complete schedule is here.
