The String Orchestra of Brooklyn which, as I like to point out, delights in its acronym, will be at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Clinton and Montague streets, this Saturday, February 11, starting at 8:00 PM. Under the direction of Maestro Eli Spindel, they will perform works by modern and contemporary composers, including new works by Kate Amrine and Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti. While this is not, by any means, cheap music it certainly may be potent. The cost of admission is reasonable: $16 general admission and $11 students or seniors if purchased online, or $15/$10 at the door.
