Brooklyn Women’s Exchange Celebrates Black History Month

The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange, 137 Montague Street, is celebrating Black History Month by featuring the works of Black artisans that are available at the Exchange. Among these are the brightly screen printed zippered pouches made by Alicia Noelle Jones (photo), owner of ANoelleJay.

Alicia’s art is largely inspired by her kayaking experiences with Brooklyn and NYC skylines and waterways backdrops, demonstrating the importance of water access and the environment.

The Exchange is open noon to 6:00 PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; noon to 7:00 PM Thursdays; and 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays.
