Brooklyn Heights Association’s Designer Show House Open Now Through October 30

The Brooklyn Heights Association’s Designer Show House, located this year at 145 Columbia Heights (photo), is open now through October 30. Mary Frost in The Eagle gives us an inside look at the rooms and the people involved. Unfortunately, the 1839 vintage house is not wheelchair accessible. Tickets for tours are $40 for individuals, $35 for BHA members, and $20 for students with valid ID. Purchase tickets here.

    A designer show house is a way of raising money $$$ for an organization.

    Interior design professionals, etc decorate a house and sell tickets so those nterested can get a look around around, see the work of decorators, maybe hire the decorators for their own homes or offices.
