Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend — late Friday evening, September 23 to early Monday morning, September 26 — Manhattan bound F trains will be re-routed over the A/C line from Jay Street-MetroTech to West 4th Street. Consequently, there will be no Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO, but extra Manhattan bound service at High Street. Meanwhile, Brooklyn bound C trains will be re-routed over the F line from 34th Street-Herald Square to Jay Street. There will be extra Brooklyn Bound service at York Street, and A trains should continue to provide Brooklyn bound service at High Street. once again, on Saturday and Sunday there will be extra Manhattan bound service at Court Street and at the N/R platform at Jay Street-MetroTech, as Manhattan bound N trains will be diverted to the R line on those days.

The following work week, just like the previous week, late nights Monday, September 26 to Tuesday, September 27; Tuesday to Wednesday, September 28; Wednesday to Thursday, September 29; and Thursday to Friday, September 30 there will be no service in either direction at York Street in DUMBO, but extra service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as F trains will be diverted to the R line in both directions between 57th Street-7th Avenue in Manhattan and 36th Street in Brooklyn. Use A, C, or D trains (see below) to or from the High Street station as an alternative. There will be extra service in both directions at High Street as D trains will be diverted to the A/C line between 145th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street.
