There’s lots of work on the subways this coming weekend – late Friday, October 15 to early Monday, October 18. There will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platforms (5 trains do not normally serve Brooklyn on weekends) at Borough Hall, as 4 trains will be terminating and originating at Bowling Green in Manhattan. 2 and 3 trains should be running normally and, for those travelling to or from Brooklyn profonde, 3 trains will take the 4 line between Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College New Lots Avenue. Also, just like last weekend, there will be no service in either direction at High Street, as A and C trains will both be diverted to the F line between Jay Street/MetroTech and West 4th Street in Manhattan. For A/C service you can use the York Street station in DUMBO. To reach or come from A/C stations in lower Manhattan use the E train and transfer to or from the A or C at West 4th, or to or from Fulton Street use the J train between there and Delancey/Essex streets. F, G, N, and R trains should be running normally.
There are no planned service changes directly affecting service at any local stations the following work week – Monday morning, October 18 through Friday evening, October 22.
These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check New MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions.
