The homes were unique and the lines were long yesterday at the 2009 Brooklyn Heights Association House Tour. Our favorite of the offerings was 273 Hicks. With interior design and contracting by McIver-Morgan-Godwin, the home is a winner on every level from furnishings and color palette to the overall flow. More info and the full tour program after the jump.
At 42 Remsen, visitors were wowed not only by the stoop renovation which earned owners Stephen Olsen and Cristina Delgado a BHA Service Award, but also by the couple’s eclectic art collection. Delgado is a renowned art dealer. “MuseumNerd” informed us via Twitter that works on display were by many artists including John Bock, Nan Goldin and Gabriel Orozco.
As for 51 Cranberry, a home worthy of a cameo in Jumanji, MuseumNerd Tweets: “Taxidermied turtle, blowgun, Currier & Ives’ The Great East River Suspension Bridge”; “The blowgun was a gift from the chief of the last undiscovered tribe in Venezuela.”
