Got yesterday’s mail this morning and today’s very late tonight.

“should we shut down all pig farms?” – hmm…not a bad idea.

  • Reggie

“Interesting” only in the respect that the park kept the schedule that it announced before work began.

    hi friends,
Henry’s End and the Brooklyn Heights Wine Bar have created Go Fund Me’s to support our employees who have been laid off during this time. If you can support, 100% of proceeds will be equally shared between front of house and back of house employees. There are separate links below for Henry’s End and the Wine Bar if you wish to support. Thank you, Brooklyn Heights, for always holding us tight and lifting us up.

the postal services seem to be delayed…and with all going on , it’s no surprise. I had 2 pcs of incoming mail take 10 and 12 days from the time they were sent…usual time is 3-5 days.

    Where were they sent from?

  • TeddyNYC

There were a couple of days with no mail last week for me. It seemed unusual since we get mail pretty much everyday, including junk mail. I didn’t hear anything about a significant number of postal workers being out sick affecting service, but I wouldn’t be surprised given everything else that’s happening right now.

    All Brooklyn parks closed??
    Source please?

  • Rick

Heard from a USPS package carrier that a lot of the USPS mail carriers in our neighborhood are refusing to deliver any mail at all. They’re not sick, he said, they just won’t deliver mail. This is the 3rd day in a row that our building has received no mail at all, and we are not a small building.

    On purpose.

    “Hindsight is 20/20.”

There are numerous major hospitals, in Brooklyn and throughout the city, that have been closed in recent years, during the tenures of several mayors.

Non as prominent and solvent as LICH was before the scheme to steal it was put in play.

Fortune House “temporarily closed.” Lichee Nut “temporarily closed.” Where is Great Wall now that we need it?

  • Andrew Porter

You don’t need that stuff, Claude.

Here, have some rolls. Careful, they’re hot!

    Wuhan!

  • Brixtony

Nope. Please don’t spread misinformation. This should be blocked!

  • Reggie

LICH was on life-support for years, YEARS! —with each successive owner worse than the last. If this was a conspiracy, it sure took an awful lot of people and time to bring about. Are you familiar with Occam’s razor?
