Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

It’s a “green light” weekend at local stations all this weekend (late Friday evening, December 20 to early Monday morning, December 23) and the following Christmas week (late nights, Monday, December 23 to Friday, December 27) there are no planned (as always, we stress planned service changes adversely affecting service at any local stations. As has been true for several weekends, there will be extra service from Manhattan to Court Street and Jay Street-MetroTech, and from those stations into Brooklyn, as N and Q trains are being diverted to the R line, the N trains from Canal Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and the Q trains from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue. The Q train diversion will continue through late nights on Christmas Week.

These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week that directly affect service at local stations. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions. Also, always check MTA Info for planned or unplanned changes that may affect your trip on other parts of the system.
