From about 10:30 Friday evening, December 13 to about 5:00 Monday morning, December 16, there will be no Manhattan bound A train service at High Street, as Manhattan bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street. However, from morning through early evening Saturday and Sunday Manhattan bound C trains should be running normally, so there should be Manhattan bound service at High Street during the day. While Brooklyn bound A trains should be running normally at High Street all weekend, Brooklyn bound C trains won’t be running, so take the A instead. There will be extra Brooklyn bound service all weekend at Court Street and Jay Street, as Brooklyn bound N and Q trains will be diverted to the R line between Canal Street and Atlantic Avenue (N trains) and Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue (Q trains).
The following work week (Monday evening, December 16 to Friday morning, December 20) there are no planned (as always, we stress planned) service changes adversely affecting service at any local stations. Each night there will be extra Brooklyn bound service at Court and Jay streets, as N trains will continue to be diverted to the R line between Canal street and Atlantic Avenue.
These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week that directly affect service at local stations. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions. Also, always check MTA Info for planned or unplanned changes that may affect your trip on other parts of the system.
