Bargemusic begins its weekend on Friday evening, December 13 at 7:00 with “Great Pianists in Recital”, a concert by Ursula Oppens of works by Corigliano, Ravel, and Nancarrow. Then begins a two week celebration of the birthday of The Great Ludwig Van, as Alex in A Clockwork Orange calls him. On Saturday evening, December 14 at 6:00 the husband and wife duo of cellist Dmitry Kouzov and pianist Yulia Fedoseeva will perform the first part of their presentation of Beethoven’s complete cello and piano sonatas (Nos. 1 and 3), and on Sunday afternoon, December 15 at 4:00 they will play nos. 2, 4, and 5.
