Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

Planned service disruptions this coming weekend are minimal at local stations. From about 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 23 until about 5:00 a.m. Monday, November 25 there will be no 3 train service in either direction, but 2 and 4 trains should (we stress SHOULD) be running normally, so there will be service in both directions at Clark Street and Borough Hall. This will be extended into the following Thanksgiving week, when 3 trains won’t be running late at night Monday to Tuesday and Tuesday to Wednesday. For those traveling into Brooklyn, 4 trains will be making 3 train stops from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to New Lots Avenue. All weekend, as well as during the late nights Monday to Tuesday and Tuesday to Wednesday, there will be extra Brooklyn Bound service at Court Street and Jay Street-MetroTech, as Brooklyn bound N trains will be running on the R line.

There are no planned service changes affecting local stations on Thursday, November 28 (Thanksgiving Day) or during the day on the following Friday, November 29.

These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work and holiday week that affect service at local stations. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions. Also, always check MTA Info for planned or unplanned changes that may affect your trip on other parts of the system.
