Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend, from about 11:45 p.m. Friday, November 15 to about 5:00 a.m. Monday, November 18 there will be no Brooklyn bound service at York Street in DUMBO, as Brooklyn bound F trains will be diverted to the A/C line between West 4th Street and Jay Street-MetroTech. To get to Brooklyn from the F stops in the LES, take a Manhattan bound F to West 4th, and change there to a Brooklyn bound A, C, or F. Also, this weekend, there will be no late night R service, but N trains will be serving Court Street and Jay Street in both directions.

The following work week – Monday, November 18 to Friday, November 22 – there are no planned (as always, we stress planned) service changes adversely affecting service at any local stations. There will be extra Brooklyn bound service on late nights Monday to Friday at Court and jay streets, as Brooklyn bound Q trains will be diverted to the R line; also, from Tuesday to Thursday, late night Brooklyn bound N trains will be running on the R line.

These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions.
