Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Return to Brooklyn Side

The New York Post reports that this year’s Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks

will return to the Brooklyn Bridge, where tens of thousands of pyrotechnic shells will be launched, as well as from four barges along Pier 17 in the Seaport District, company officials announced Thursday.

It adds that

July’s fete will feature more than three times the explosive power than previous displays and will incorporate the [Brooklyn B]ridge’s entire 1,595-foot span.
