Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend, from 9:45 p.m. Friday, March 29 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 1, there will be no Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO, as F trains will be re-routed to the A/C line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street. To reach LES stops on the F, take a Manhattan bound A or F from Jay or High Street to West 4th, and change there for a Brooklyn bound F.

The following work week, each night Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5 from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. there will be no 3 train service in either direction at Clark Street or the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall, but 2 trains should be running normally. For travel to or from locations in Brooklyn, 2 and 4 trains will provide alternative service. Each night from 9:30 p.m.to 5:00 a.m. F trains in both directions are being re-routed to the A/C line from Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech, which means no service at York Street in DUMBO. D trains are also being re-routed to the A/C line: since A/C trains should be running normally, this means there will be lots of service in both directions at High Street. There will be free shuttle buses connecting Jay Street and York Street, and also connecting the LES stops on the F with West 4th Street.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
