Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend, from 9:45 Friday evening, November 30 to 5:00 AM Monday, December 3 there will be no service from Manhattan to High Street, as Brooklyn bound A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street Jay Street-MetroTech. From 11:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday Brooklyn bound Q trains will replace N and R trains between Canal Street in Manhattan and 36th Street in Brooklyn, so use the Q (transfer at Canal) for service to Court Street or Jay Street-MetroTech. Service at other local stations should be normal.

The following work week — Monday, December 3 to Friday, December 7 — each night from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM there will be no service from Manhattan to High Street, as Brooklyn bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street Jay Street-MetroTech, and C trains do not run late at night. During these same hours there will be no A train service between Jay Street and Utica Avenue; shuttle buses will provide alternate service. Each night from 10:45 PM to 5:00 AM there will be no Manhattan bound service at Court Street or from the N/R platforms at Jay Street. Use the 4 from Borough Hall, the 2 or 3 from Clark Street or Borough Hall, or the A from High street or Jay street as options. Each night from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM Brooklyn bound Q trains will run on the R/N line from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue, so will provide extra service to Court Street and the R/N platform at Jay Street.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
