All day Saturday, April 21, from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM, Manhattan bound N and R trains are being re-routed over the Manhattan Bridge, but Q trains will provide alternative Manhattan bound service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-Metro Tech. Brooklyn bound N and R service should operate normally. This weekend we also have, from 11:45 PM Friday, April 20 to 5:00 AM Monday, April 23, the continuing, until some time this summer, cancellation of 2 or 3 train service in either direction (meaning no service at Clark Street or on the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall). As usual, during the absence of 2/3 service, 4 and 5 (5 trains don’t usually serve Brooklyn on weekends) will provide alternate service to and into, and out of, Brooklyn.
The following work week, each night from 9:45 PM until 5:00 AM, there will be no service in either direction at Clark Street or at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall. Use the 4, A, or N as options. Tuesday to Friday, each night from 12:01 AM to 5:00 AM, there will be extra service in both directions at Court Street and on the N/R platforms at Jay Street, as Q trains will be diverted to the N/R lines during these hours.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
