All New York City public schools (including P.S. 8 and M.S. 8) are closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 4, because of expected severe weather including snow and sustained high winds. Packer and Brooklyn Heights Montessori are closed for their normal Winter Breaks. No word on St. Ann’s; best to call (718) 522-1660 in the morning. AltSchool? We don’t have a clue. When we try to get their website, we’re told our account has been disabled.
We also have word that alternate side of the street parking rules are suspended, although you still have to feed the meters.
Addendum: We’ve just gotten notification that all Brooklyn Public Library branches are closed tomorrow, January 4.
