Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This coming weekend (10:30 PM Friday, October 13 to 5:00 AM Monday, October 16) F trains in both directions will be diverted to the Q line between Lexington Avenue/63rd Street and Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center. This means no service at York Street in DUMBO. During these same hours, D trains will be diverted to the A line between 59th Street/Columbus Circle and Jay Street/Metro Tech, and from there into and from Brooklyn on the F line. Along with this, of course, is the weekend long absence of 2 or 3 service in either direction at Clark Street and at Borough Hall, which will continue until next summer. Other lines serving the Heights — 4, 5 (which serves Brooklyn on weekends during the 2/3 tunnel work), A, C, R and (late night) N — should be running normally.

The following work week (Monday, October 16 to Friday, October 20), each night from 10:00 PM to 5:00 PM there will be no 2 or 3 service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, so no service at Clark Street or on the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall. As on weekends, 4 or 5 trains will be making all 2 or 3 stops going into Brooklyn past Borough Hall (5 service will be extended to and from Brooklyn overnight). Apart from that, there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips that directly affect service at any local stations.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
