Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

It’s another heavy maintenance weekend, as post-Sandy repair work closes two major lines serving the Heights, the 4/5 line at Borough Hall and the A/C line at High Street, in both directions from 11:45 p.m. Friday, February 3 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 6. A and C trains are being diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street, while 4 trains (the 5 does not serve Brooklyn on weekends) are not running below the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall station in Manhattan. The 2/3 and N/R lines should be running as normal.

The following work week (Monday, February 6 to Friday, February 10) there are no planned maintenance activities that directly affect service at any local stations.

For service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info. Especially for those traveling into or from Brooklyn, I encourage you to check the MTA site; there are many changes that could affect your trip.
